Press ReleasesEB-TV Continues Its Expansion Strategy

EB-TV has announced a new agreement that will see the fast-growing combat sports online channel continue its expansion strategy by including a new sport and also strengthening its position in the US market. In a groundbreaking move, EB-TV is set to broadcast the World Arm-wrestling Final live on November 21 and 22.

Organized by the World Armwrestling Championship (WAC), the Zloty Tur Professional Armwrestling World Cup is set to take place over two days in Rumia, Poland. The tournament features left-hand bouts on November 21 and right-hand competition on November 22.

Arm-wrestling fans around the world will have the chance to watch the full event live on EB-TV. For a fee of $7.99, subscribers will not only enjoy uninterrupted coverage to both days of live action but will also have unlimited access to a dedicated channel featuring highlights of previous events and other arm-wrestling videos.

As part of the agreement with the WAC, EB-TV will also broadcast the upcoming Vendetta in Vegas armfight in Las Vegas in January.

Having originally focused on the combat sports of muaythai and kickboxing, EB-TV expanded quickly to include MMA tournaments. The decision to include arm-wrestling represents continued growth as EB-TV continues its expansion strategy toward its long-term objective of being the number one online combat sports channel in the world.  The deal also sees EB-TV strengthen its position in the US market.
