Press ReleasesPutting the “Boxing” in Elite Boxing TV

Elite Boxing passed another milestone this week when the Bangkok-based combat sports giant announced that it would add live boxing to its EB-TV portfolio. When Londoner Frank Buglioni takes on Fedor Chudinov for the WBA super-middleweight title at Wembley Arena on July 24, it will be the first time EB has streamed a live boxing event on its EB-TV online platform.

Originally developed as a platform to showcase muaythai events, including EB’s own Thailand VS Challenger Series and other in-house productions, EB quickly grew by adding an ever-increasing portfolio of muaythai events through partnerships with promoters around the world.

As the platform grew in popularity, other combat sports events were added, including kickboxing and MMA. The recent addition of traditional boxing is expected to help EB-TV reach an even wider audience of fight fans around the world.

The boxing debut on EB-TV will feature 26-year-old Buglioni and Chudinov of Russia in an eagerly-anticipated world title super-middleweight fight. Buglioni only recently defended his European title against Lee Markham via a split decision.

Buglioni has only one defeat in his professional career, while Chudinov is undefeated in 13 professional fights. Chudinov claimed the world super-middleweight belt vacated by Carl Froch when he won a split decision victory over Felix Sturm in May.

Also on the fightcard, European middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders will be taking a step closer to his expected shot at WBO world champion Andy Lee.

Catch all of the action as it happens on EB-TV.
